PositionPurpose: This position’s purpose is to provide data entry and database support to the development department on a part-time temporary basis.
PrimaryResponsibilities: The Database Coordinator will assist in maintaining and cleaning the donor database as well as provide data entry. In addition, the Database Coordinator will assist administrative support as needed. The position is a part-time volunteer position working approximately 15 - 20 hours a week and committing to a minimum of 3 months (days/hours are flexible). Preference given to those who can provide their own laptop.
EssentialDuties:
Perform data entry while referring to the Raiser’s Edge Manual
Assist in cleaning and maintaining data integrity in the donor database
Assist with importing excel spreadsheets
Provide administrative assistance when needed
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Experience working with databases (preferably Raiser’s Edge)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including Excel)
Types approximately 40+wpm
Highly collaborative
Attention to detail
Fast learner
Ability to maintain confidential information
Previous experience with IT or administrative/clerical work preferred.

Description
Volunteers provide "a home away from home" for military personnel and their families. The Admiral James S. Russell USO Center is open 24 hours a day and is located on the 2nd floor at the Sea-Tac International Airport. The center offers food, beverages, television, books, e-mail access, sleeping facilities, showers, toiletries, cribs and infant supplies, and information for traveling military and their families. The McChord Air Force Base USO Center provides similar services 12 hours each day.
