The Alzheimer's Association has a vendor booth at the Omaha Health Expo on Saturday, April 9th and Sunday, April 10th, 2016.

We need 2-3 volunteers per day. Saturday time frames are between 9:30 and 5:30 and Sunday between 10:00 and 4:00. We run volunteer shifts in 2 hour blocks. A half day of volunteering is also very helpful.

Duties include: sharing information about the Alzheimer's Association, including our offered supports and programs, as well as set-up and tear-down.

Ideal candidates for this unique volunteer opportunity are individuals who are either knowledgeable about Alzheimer's disease through professional experience, or willing to learn in order to inform the community of the Association's Association's mission and offered supports.

Since 1982, the Nebraska Chapter has provided education, information and support to individuals afflicted with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other dementias. Alongside 78 other Chapters and our Home Office in Chicago, we promote research for the prevention, cure, and treatment of AD. This mission is carried out by increasing concern and awareness, advancing public policy, enhancing care and support options, accelerating research, and growing revenue.
