Between the multitude of exhibits, educational programs, and research requests we receive at the Schenectady County Historical Society, we are always happy for assistance with research.
Opportunities are available at the Mabee Farm Historic Site, located in Rotterdam Junction, and at the Schenectady County Historical Society, in the historic Stockade District of Schenectady.

The oldest farm in the Mohawk Valley (1705), Mabee Farm Historic Site offers visitors today vibrant educational and recreational opportunities. With its deep history and riverside beauty, it’s the perfect place to explore Mohawk Valley heritage.
Mabee Farm is part of the Schenectady County Historical Society, brings to life the region’s dynamic history through interactive exhibits, talks, workshops, concerts, programs and community events for all audiences at the Mabee Farm Historic Site, the Grems-Doolittle Library, the Schenectady History Museum, and the historic Brouwer House.
