Do you enjoy working with your hands? You might be the perfect Handyman. We are always looking for help with projects across our sites, ranging from event setup to minor repair work to assisting with the preservation and maintenance of our historic structures. We are willing to teach the basics, but anyone with any construction, building, or maintenance background is especially welcome. Heavy lifting may be required, so we can promise you’ll get a good workout!
This position is usually not a regularly scheduled, consistent position, but occurs as tasks come up across our sites. If you are interested in participating, after our initial meeting we will help set you up with specific tasks then include you as one of our contacts for future projects.
Opportunities are available at the Mabee Farm Historic Site, located in Rotterdam Junction, and at the Schenectady County Historical Society, in the historic Stockade District of Schenectady.More opportunities with Mabee Farm Historic Site
