We are a small startup 501 (c) 3 non-profit. At this time, we are made up entirely of volunteers like you, who believe the current state of the world is unacceptable and have dedicated themselves to creating a better world. We need help in increasing our institutional knowledge base. There is a lot we have to learn to have the greatest impact we can. We shall increase our knowledge base fastest by incorporating you in the building of it.

The implementation of our projects shall require collaboration from people all over the world (we are excited about this fact!). These projects shall lead to the creation of products with intellectual property rights. We need help in developing intellectual property rights strategies, policies, and systems that ensure we can effectively run open source projects.

Expected Impact of this Volunteering Position

The fulfillment of this volunteer position shall ensure we can conduct effective collaborative projects.

Position Description

Fulfillment of this position entails the following:

- a review of legal and liability considerations as it relates to intellectual property rights and collaborative projects.

- the creation of policies and systems that ensure we always follow the best practices as it relates to intellectual property rights and collaborative projects.

- securing our current intellectual properties such as our logos and other trademark items.

Expected Commitment

This project is estimated to require up to 40 hours to complete. We are looking to complete this project over a 8 - 12 weeks period.

We are currently based out of Milwaukee, WI. However, this position can be done virtually from any location. We shall expect at least, weekly communication from the project executor notifying us, of project progress.
