The Vernon Area Public Library District is recruiting volunteer ESL Teacher Aides. Volunteers will assist instructors in the classroom by providing individualized assistance and feedback to adult English language learners,
Volunteer will assist with beginner or intermediate classes at the Library as follows during the calendar school year.
- Once weekly Wednesday
- 9:15 am - 12:15 pm
- Classes will be held from Septemer 6, 2023 thru mid May 2024
- Both beginner and intermediate classes are held on Monday and Wednesday.
Additional Information
- Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Volunteers should have English as their primary language, or have an excellent command of English.
- Serving as role models, volunteers must be interested in working cross culturally with adult students.
- Volunteers are required to be patient, adaptable, respectful and dependable.
- Volunteers must be available for all or most of the year.
