Work off that Thanksgiving meal and get some time away from Aunt Mildred by volunteering at a Community Recycling Center this Saturday! This outdoor volunteer opportunity is great for busy students who need service learning hours before the semester ends! Since this is an ongoing opportunity (Wednesday - Saturday), if November 29 doesn’t work for you, we may have another shift available.
Two locations to choose from: 91st and Hillcrest or Metro North Shopping Center. We have a special need for Saturday volunteers to help at the Metro North location. Morning and afternoon shifts available. Volunteers assist the recycling center site manager with various duties, such as breaking down cardboard or styrofoam, assisting patrons, etc. All volunteers must register in advance.
We apologize that we are not able to offer or sign off on court-mandated community service or disciplinary service.
