Do you love stickers? We have thousands, ready and waiting for you to stick them in our books!
Kids Read Now needs small teams of volunteers to stick Discovery Sheet labels inside 25,000 books for our Summer 2015 program. Each Discovery Sheet is stuck neatly inside the front cover of our Kids Read Now books, all of which will go to students exiting grades K-3 during summer 2015. More than 4,000 students from 22 school buildings throughout Ohio and Indiana received books from Kids Read Now during summer 2014.
Teams of 4 to 8 volunteers would be ideal for this project, but larger groups are welcome. This one-time opportunity can be made available during weekdays and limited evenings/weekends. This project is perfect especially for Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, service clubs, and other organizations.
Project is available in Troy until 12/19/2014. Project will then be available in our new Vandalia location beginning 1/19/2015.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to eliminate the summer reading slide. We motivate children to learn to read so they read to learn.
Description
Kids Read Now partners directly with school districts to deliver a summer reading program. Students who enroll in our program receive up to nine free books of their choice via U.S. mail throughout the summer months. Kids Read Now utilizes One Call Now technology to follow up with students weekly throughout the summer. We also compare student reading assessments from spring and fall to one another to determine our overall success. While the organization is based in the central Ohio region, our program may be delivered in any school throughout the United States. Children served are in grades K-3.
