Co-facilitates Caregiver Support Group and share related topic information with the participants; aid individuals to get the support and assistance needed, but not as a substitute for professional services. Formal educational background in social work, counseling or health care. Has completed professional support group facilitator training program as approved by the Roseville Area Senior Program. Experience in working with older adults. Meets compliance of a criminal background check. Positive attitude and good communication skills. Able to make a one year commitment.

Description
The Roseville Area Senior Program/North Suburban Senior Council will be the focal point in the service area - Roseville Area School District (Roseville, Little Canada, Maplewood, Moundsview, Lauderdale & Falcon Heights) - where persons over the age of 55 will come for volunteer opportunities, recreational and social activities, social networking, sharing of knowledge and experiences, live-long learning enrichment, intergenerational opportunities, access to information and assistance, advocacy on issues of public policy and access to necessary services that enable independent lifestyles.
