The Lynch View SUN (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) Program is looking to organize and expand our collect clothing. We could use your help with organizing the space, folding clothes and collecting donations (particularly shoes, winter wear & rain gear). The goal of our clothing closet is to provide the opportunity for any member of the school community to access the clothing that they need.

We also like to put out clothing for families during our food pantry distribution hours on Thursdays from 1-3 pm.

We are seeking volunteers for:

Lynch View Elementary School, 1546 SE 169th Pl, Portland, OR 97233

Monday-Thursday: Hours are flexible between hours 9 am & 5 pm

Description

Metropolitan Family Service (MFS) volunteers serve in various capacities, depending on their areas of interest and abilities. Volunteers participate in on-going opportunities in one of three focus areas: helping children succeed, strengthening families and their connections to the community, and helping older adults and persons with disabilities live independently. We create opportunities that bridge generations and inspire everyone to live their best life.
