You will provide in-home relief to caregivers of older adults. RELIEF offers a much needed break to family members and loved ones providing constant care for frail elderly or those stricken with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. Respite care can increase a caregiver's ability to attend a homebound loved one without becoming ill themselves.

Description
This program provides in-home relief by senior companions to caregivers of older adults. It offers a much needed break to family members and loved ones providing constant care for a frail elder or those stricken with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. Respite care can increase a caregiver's ability to attend to a homebound loved one without becoming ill themselves. Stipend for volunteer service hours and travel reimbursement avaialbe once you attend 5 days of training, pass Level II background screening and commit to 12-20 hours per week.
