This volunteer position is for a truck assistant to support the driver in loading and unloading donated materials. Volunteer is required to be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
The ReStore will need 1 to 2 volunteers per day during the holiday season (November 29th - December 31st). Shifts are from 8 am to 5 pm. Whether you can commit to volunteer one or several days with the ReStore we will appreciate whatever time you can give! Contact Noe Rivas for more information: noe@habitatoc.org
Our donations trucks pick up donated quality, reusable items from homes and businesses in Orange County and transport them to be sold in the Habitat ReStore. The items sold in the ReStore help fund the mission of Habitat for Humanity in Orange County of creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore - The Home Improvement Store That Builds Homes - is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used home furnishings and building materials to the public seven days a week at discounted prices. Donations arrive every day and it's a whole new store with each donation! The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is proudly owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending substandard housing and building strong communities in Orange County. We partner with local businesses, community organizations, faith communities, cities and volunteers to build simple, decent, affordable homes for purchase by qualified families in need of a hand-up.
