Are you ready to put your expert computer skills to use for a good cause? Seeds of Literacy, an award-winning adult literacy nonprofit in Cleveland, Ohio, needs a talented IT volunteer to help answer ongoing website coding questions.
Our website was built on the Expression Engine Platform. We currently have talented volunteers in web design and search engine optimization who are working on increasing our visibility, and we've realized the need for a programmer to work in conjunction with them so that they can continue their projects without technical hiccups. Working together, we hope to allow everyone's talents to shine to their fullest and to bring the virtual spotlight to Seeds of Literacy's mission of improving lives through literacy.
If you have the skills we need and the desire to help your community through Seeds of Literacy, please contact Alexandria Marshall at 216.661.7950 or alexandriamarshall@seedsofliteracy.org.
This volunteer opportunity can be done remotely.

Mission Statement
Seeds of Literacy provides personal education that empowers adults to succeed in their communities.
Description
Seeds of Literacy brings together people of diverse backgrounds in order to help break a root cause of poverty: illiteracy.
Since 1997, Seeds of Literacy has provided free, one-to-one tutoring in basic education and GED preparation to adults in Cuyahoga County. A unique curriculum designed and developed by Seeds of Literacy and one-to-one tutoring optimize learning by building relationships of trust between the student and the tutor. Since this approach allows each student to work at her or his own pace and academic level while receiving personal attention and encouragement, students of all academic levels may be able to participate in the program.
Seeds has student retention and graduation rates that are twice the national average, is the only adult literacy program in the county to be nationally accredited by ProLiteracy, and is a 501(c)3 organization.
