We are a small startup 501 (c) 3 non-profit. At this time, we are made up entirely of volunteers like you, who believe the current state of the world is unacceptable and have dedicated themselves to creating a better world. We need help in increasing our institutional knowledge base. There is a lot we have to learn to have the greatest impact we can. We shall increase our knowledge base fastest by incorporating you in the building of it.

We are yet to solicit funding from the general public. However, we would like to develop a donor recruitment and relations strategy before we start soliciting funds from the general public.

Expected Impact of this Volunteering Position

The fulfillment of this volunteer position shall ensure we have an effective donor recruitment and relations strategy in place. This shall improve the success of our fund-raising efforts and campaigns.

Position Description

Fulfillment of this position entails the following:

- the creation of a document outlining a road map of actions to take to effectively recruit donors.

- development of templates of donation soliciting materials eg Fund-raising letters, Donation acknowledgment,Thank you mails, Annual Reports, Reports on Impact of our activities etc.

- formulation of strategies that increases our donor retention and guidelines for measuring the success of relations efforts (i.e. retention and attrition rates)

- identification of necessary certifications that will increase donor's confidence in our judicious use of their donations

- identification of tools that can aid in our donor recruitment and relations management

Expected Commitment

This project is estimated to require up to 30 hours to complete. We are looking to complete this project over a 4 - 8 weeks period.

If you are unavailable for this level of commitment, we have other needs that may interest you.

We are currently based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. However, this position can be done virtually from any location. We shall expect at least, weekly communication from the project executor notifying us, of project progress.
