Cheerful holiday volunteers are needed to assist with annual holiday parties for families at 5 Wesley Houing Community Resource Centers in Arlington, Alexandria, and Falls Church. We need help with greeting residents, serving holiday meals, set up and clean up, children's activities, and distribution of toys.
Many of the families served by Wesley Housing get by on extremely limited incomes and struggle to afford even the most basic necessities. The holiday season can be particularly difficult for our residents, therefore we truly appreciate your volunteer service to make the holidays brighter for our families.
The holiday parties will be held 5:00pm-7:30pm, Monday-Thursday, December 8-11 in North Arlington, West Alexandria and Annandale/Alexandria, VA.

Description
Wesley Housing is a nonprofit affordable housing developer operating 29 communities totaling over 2,300 affordable housing units, serving over 25,000 individuals. In addition to housing, Wesley Housing also provides services to its residents through Community Resource Centers which offer afterschool programs for youth, computer training, job skills training, ESL classes, nutrition classes and recreational programs for youth and adults.
