For more than thirty years, the Alexandria Jaycees have taken underprivileged children shopping for holiday gifts for their families. All of the gifts purchased by participating children are paid for by the Alexandria Jaycees. Without the Holiday Shopping Tour, these children could never afford to buy gifts for their parents, siblings and other immediate family members.
The Holiday Shopping Tour is a fun event and a great way to kick off the holiday season.
Volunteers will meet at 8AM and will go shopping with the kids before we take them for a wrapping and pizza party and a surprise visit from Santa.
Please help us brighten the holidays for local families who would not be able to buy holiday gifts without the support of the Alexandria Jaycees. Your support will help us spread holiday cheer, and help a child’s holiday wishes come true.

The Alexandria Jaycees, part of Junior Chamber International, is a leadership training and community service organization for adults aged 21-40.
Description
Our Chapter focuses on leadership development through community service, networking, and social opportunities for adults aged 21-40. Alexandria is one of the largest and most active Chapters in the United States. We are best known for our annual community appreciation night, our annual holiday shopping tour for underpriviledged children, and the volunteers we provide to such organizations as the Alexandria Red Cross, Rebuilding Together, The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria, etc.
