On average families pay upwards of $300 to get their taxes done each year. When you volunteer with United Way's Free Tax Campaign YOU can help hard working, struggling families keep this money in their pockets and help them gain long-term financial stability.
How do we do this? At each of our 21 sites across King County, we not only help thousands of community members file their taxes, we also talk through their taxes one-on-one, and then see what other services they qualify for. We help clients register them for Healthcare and Medicade if eligible, sign up for Food Assistance (SNAP) if eligible, and connect them with free financial counseling.
