If you enjoy working with kids, we would love to have you join our team! We are Imagine Housing, a local non-profit, providing affordable housing and supportive services to low-income families on King County’s Eastside.

One of the services we offer at our Kirkland property is an after-school program (children age 5-13). The program's purpose is to provide our youth with a fun, safe, constructive and affirming environment. Programming days will vary. They usually include either 1/1.5/2 hours of homework help/tutoring and structured activities.

As a volunteer, you will engage directly with youth by helping them complete their homework and by facilitating activities. We seek people who are engaging, kind, patient, reliable, and have a real desire to work with kids! If you are looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity in a fun, creative, and uplifting space where kids are the focus, this is the place for you!

Weekly volunteer options are:

  • Tues: 4:00 - 6:00pm
  • Wed: 4:30 - 5:30pm
  • Fri: 4:00 - 5:30pm

Imagine Housing is an affordable housing provider on the Eastside. We are home to over 1,200 people in Issaquah, Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond & Sammamish.

We also offer on-site services and support to help our residents be stable, self-supporting and contributing members of our vibrant Eastside community. We create homes, opportunity, and hope through our permanent affordable homes, lively communities, and resident empowerment.
