Muscular Dystrophy Association

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is pleased to be partnering with the world renowned MetroPCS Dallas Marathon, Half-Marathon and Relay in Dallas, TX from Friday, December 12 to Sunday, December 14.

Be part of the excitement that is the Dallas Marathon by being part of an official Team Momentum Cheer Team! You will be along the Dallas Marathon course and cheer on the Team Momentum participants as they go by! MDA will provide cheer signs and cowbells.

  • Water Stop: Need 30-40 volunteers, located at Mile 9 (serving both Half and Full Marathon, approx. intersection of Richmond Ave. and Greenville Ave.)
  • Cheer Location: Five easy to get to areas along race course. Areas will be assigned based on need.

Date & Time: Sunday, December 14 from 6:30am to 1pm (subject to change based off of cheer station location within the race course)

How does this benefit you?
By volunteering, you will be helping raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the 1 Million families we support annually. You'll also have private access to action on race weekend. MDA approves community service hours.
