Seeking individuals who can assist us with creating this Walk/Run against violence. There will be a Stand up for Right Block Party at the end of the Walk/Run with vendors, mobile pettying zoo, bounce house, entertainment, speakers, and food! Need volunteers who have experience with Walks/Runs and can see it through to the end. The Volunteer will help sign up vendors and make contact with anyone who may have an interest in participating as a vendor or registered walker/runner.

Encouraging our youth to steer away from violence by motivating positive leadership opportunites for and within them.
Description
DGMF holds fundraisers to raise funds for our after school and summer youth programs. we have an annual basketball tournament in June 2011 and we have a blast from the past dinner/dance February 18, 2011. We help our youth to learn to give by distributing food boxes to the community. we also raise funds for high school seniors scholarships.
