Medinah Society Inc is looking for Afterschool tutors for our Youth Tutoring program.
Needed 2-3 enthusiastic tutors to help our youth K-6 with their homework and school projects. This opportunity is available from January 1st 2014. The tutoring program runs on Mondays 3pm-6pm, Tuesdays, 3pm-6pm and Fridays 3pm-6pm. Volunteers can commit to 1, 2 or 3 days.
The families served in our community are in dire need of these services because the youth are majority from immigrant families and are unable to receive homework help from thier parents with homework.

Description
Medinah Society Inc is organized exclusively for the educational purposes as specified in section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Medinah Society began as a community organization in 2010, became an IL nonprofit incorporated January 2014 and is currently awaiting federal nonprofit approval. The Mission of Medinah Society is to provide informative, educational health awareness related to adults and children, to provide educational, cultural and fitness programs/workshops for the community, and to provide a welcoming environment where clients receive help and continued support despite economic status.
