Mission Statement

Promote social change surrounding veterans issues through written awareness.

Description

  • The War Writers' Campaign aims to maintain a long-term and historic platform that facilitates the consolidated efforts of servicemembers and veterans to promote mental therapy through the literary word. Its continued purpose of affecting advocacy and assistance will shape and direct the programs of best in class veterans organizations for years to come.

  • 4 Key Areas for Impact
    • Assist veterans in telling their own story

    • Engage them where they are in the power of therapy through communication

    • Empower veterans through written publications that generate royalties, create awareness for change, and provide a platform for reciprocal altruistic giving in the veteran space

    • Cultivate tangible impact for advocacy where 100% of proceeds from published works go directly back to best in class veteran programs

  • We publish collections of work, individual pieces, poetry, and prose to represent the 1%. Submissions to The Campaign will be vetted for publication across time, in multiple formats, and will be available for print and download on demand and in physical print for availability in bookstores worldwide.

Published works will be available for a donation to The War Writers’ Campaign. And as the premier go-to non-profit publishing house for veteran and military story, we will use our funding to build and support mental health and veteran specific programs for our community.

We aim to build a supportive network of veterans, family members, and supporters nationwide, that will uplift and support our authors. The Campaign will be a sounding board for veterans and their families to reach out for advocacy, awareness, and change in the veteran space and in the community.

We guarantee that 100% of all proceeds will go to The War Writers' Campaign in support of our mission, to our authors as a royalty for their work, and to programs of best in class veterans organizations who are on the cutting edge of impacting the lives of veterans and their families.
