It's time to celebrate the holidays at Kidspace! From December 26th through the 31st, we are turning the museum into a winter wonderland, with real snow for children to play in, dry ice science experiments, and unique winter-themed arts and crafts! Volunteers are needed to assist and supervise children with snow play, arts and crafts, science projects, a wishing tree, blowing up balloons, and general guest greetings. And on the 31st, we need volunteers to help with a huge balloon drop at 12 noon, New Year's themed crafts, and an apple cider toast! WE NEED 20 VOLUNTEERS EACH DAY, except for the 30th when we need 40. Please review the available shifts below and let me know if you'd like to assist. PLEASE note that each day the shifts start at different times: FRIDAY DEC 26th AM: 7:30am - 12:30pm PM: 12pm - 5pm FULL DAY: 7:30am - 5pm SATURDAY DEC 27th AM: 8am - 1pm PM: 12:30pm - 5pm FULL DAY: 8am - 5pm SUNDAY DEC 28th AM: 9am - 1:30pm PM: 1pm - 5pm FULL DAY: 9am - 5pm MONDAY DEC 29th AM: 8:30am - 1pm PM: 12:30 - 5pm FULL DAY: 8:30am - 5pm TUESDAY DEC 30th AM: 8:30am - 1pm PM: 12:30pm - 5pm FULL DAY: 8:30am - 5pm WEDNESDAY DEC 31st AM: 8:30am - 1pm PM: 12:30pm - 5pm FULL DAY: 8:30am - 5pm If you would like to assist with any of these dates, please respond as soon as possible WITH THE DATE AND SHIFT you would like to work. We CANNOT create the schedule without this. ATTENTION SERVICE GROUPS : If you are interested in signing your group up, I need to know sooner rather than later so that we don't have too many volunteers at the last minute. Please respond with 1) The date and shift you would like to come, and 2) Approximately how many volunteers you can commit. We hope you can join us for this very special event. As always, lunch will be provided to all volunteers.
