This is where we need help at the Jingle Bell Run/Walk on December 14th

When: Saturday, December 14, 2019

Where: Stage AE, 400 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh

Time: 7:00 am - 11:00 am

Volunteer Duties:

• Pre-Event:
  • Office Volunteers: office hours on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. These volunteers would help with race packet preparation at the Arthritis Foundation Office (Foster Plaza, Building 11, 790 Holiday Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15220)
  • Day of Volunteers (Set up - 5:30 a.m.; Regular Volunteers: 7 a.m. - noon)
    • Tinsel Appearances - 5 people needed to be the mascot or handle the mascot (must have a waistline of 34 inches or smaller to fit in Mascot Costume)
    • Set Up (must arrive at 5:30 a.m.) - 20 people
    • Day of Registration (easier than Pre-Registration) - 14 people
    • Pre - Registration check in and packet pick up - 25 people
    • Registration Runners - takes registrations to the timing people - 4 people
    • Food/Beverage restocking and Finish Line set up - 4
    • Water Table at Half Way Mark (will be outside for long period of time) -8 people
    • Indoor and outdoor participant guides - 8 people
    • Run/Walk Route directional guides (outside) - 23 people
    • Tinsel Trot Guides - 10 people
    • Arthritis Foundation information tables (advocacy/general/events) - 6 people
    • Honoree Management - keeps all honorees in central location - 2 people
    • Crowd Control/Pace per Mile Signs/Registration Guides - 10 people
    • Kids Craft Activities- 5 people
    • Clean up volunteers - 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. - 5 people
