We are looking for trained yoga instructors to provide stress releif, excercise and community to our homeless shelter residents. We have hosted this class very successfully in the past and would love to expand yoga services to the clients in all of our locations. The commitment can be as litle as once a week or once a month to come and teach for an hour.

Mission Statement
The People Concern believes no one should have to live on the street or in a violent household. Our staff, volunteers and those we serve work together to address the effects of homelessness, poverty, mental and physical illness, abuse and addiction. Our programs empower the most vulnerable among us to improve their quality of life - housed, healthy and safe - and become active participants in the community. We also work to educate the broader community and improve public policy.
Description
The People Concern empowers the most vulnerable among us to rebuild their lives. As one of Los Angeles County’s largest social services agencies, we provide a fully integrated system of care - including mental and medical health care, substance abuse services, and housing - tailored to the unique needs of homeless individuals, survivors of domestic violence, challenged youth, and others who have nowhere else to turn.
