We are seeking two ushers, two box office assistants and a sound person for this production. Ushers will manage program distribution and welcoming, box office assistants will process ticket requests at the door and the sound person will run the iPod for the show.
On Friday, December 5th at 8pm, we will be performing an encore production of our original play MUSE at St. Ann & The Holy Trinity in Brooklyn Heights. It's a gorgeous venue to perform a historic, Victorian piece under a 57 story Cathedral. Just off the stage at Theater For The New City, MUSE opened to great reviews. To read the reviews and learn more about the play, please visit www.shakespearessister.org.
Ushers and box office will need to arrive by 6:30pm on December 5th for a brief training. The sound person will need to attend one rehearsal the first week of December and arrive by 7pm on December 5th for a sound check. All production people will be welcome to watch the production for free.

Mission Statement
Formed in 2008, the Shakespeare's Sister Company is a New York City headquartered organization. We have stepped out into our community-at-large as a nonprofit dedicated to empowering children through theater education and young adults in professional development workshops, especially in disadvantaged communities.
Description
Artistic Director, Kris Lundberg, founded the Shakespeare's Sister Company in 2008 to empower youth through a creative curriculum and entertain audiences with powerful theater.
Our patron saint is one of the world's greatest pioneers of the literary and intellectual community, Mrs. Virginia Woolf.
Virginia Stephen Woolf (1882-1941), one of histories literary, theatrical and intellectual pioneers, serves as the patron saint of the Shakespeare's Sister Company. In her literary essay, "A Room of One's Own", Virginia wrote if Shakespeare had a sister who had his genius, she would not have been able to make use of it. Virginia Woolf represents the fearless independent thinking and progressive women's movement that the Shakespeare's Sister Company exhibits.
