We will be taking pets' photos with Santa at Petco again this year! And we need some elves to lend a helping hand. We'll need help directing people, putting the printed photos in the Holiday cards, and helping the pets look their very best in the photos (by squeaking toys, waving arms, etc, behind the photographer. :) )
We will be doing Photos with Santa at the Petco on Louisiana Ave. in Lafayette, December 6th and December 13th, 1:00-4:00. (We ask that volunteers plan to be there no later than 12:30.)

Mission Statement
MISSION: To enhance the quality of life for the dogs, cats, birds and other companion animals in the care of Lafayette Animal Control Center (LACC) and other animal shelters and welfare agencies in the greater Lafayette area, to end euthanasia as the primary means of population control, and to reduce the number of homeless animals at LACC. GOALS: To meet the objectives of this organization it shall: Provide community education regarding spaying and neutering; Focus on decreasing shelter admissions and increasing live release rates at the shelter until there are no more homeless pets; Increase the demand for homeless pets by holding and participating at local adoption events; Create Outreach Program to inspire positive action on behalf of animals in our communities; and Be the "goodwill ambassadors for animals" and become the leading resource for integrating animal welfare initiatives in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
