Participate as a volunteer interviewer at our Work Readiness Certification Sessions. Local youth need skills and training as they begin their first job search. As a volunteer, you will interview, evaluate and mentor young job seekers to help them prepare for entry level jobs and internships.

Description
Founded in 1998 as a nonprofit organization, UNITE-LA has a strategic partnership with the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Through this and other partnerships, UNITE-LA is able to advance its mission of empowering youth to succeed in the 21st century global economy. UNITE-LA oversees several signature education and workforce development initiatives, including: L.A. Cash for College, the L.A. Compact, the L.A. Regional STEM Hub, L.A. Youth at Work, and Principal for a Day.
