Automation Workz is a live family video game organized as a competitive scavenger hunt. Families complete challenging hands-on invention, mechatronics, programming, 3D design, spatial reasoning, mathematical and robotic activities. As they complete each activity or answer questions regarding an Auto related exhibit, they will upload a photo into a scavenger hunt app to secure points. The top three families to generate the most points will win cash prizes.
The goal of Automation Workz is to motivate families to prepare for advanced manufacturing and high tech careers by exposing them to fun technicalactivities that can be replicated at home.
Street Team Marketers will:
Make Presentations at schools, community events, work places, gatherings of people
Pass out flyers at Auto Show to families before/during Automation Workz 10 am - 3 pm
Interact with families visiting manufacturer booth on Auto Exhibit Floor 1:30 pm to 5 pm
Ideal volunteer is someone who can sell ice to an eskimo and loves talking to young people. Someone who has relationships with schools, community groups, youth groups and free time during the school day. Someone who is a hipster.
