PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To instruct American Red Cross Disaster Services classes to internal Red Cross audiences as well as external community groups throughout our region's/chapter's jurisdiction.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Flexible schedule available.
Opportunities available during the day, evening or weekends.
Must teach one class per calendar year to remain as an instructor.
REQUIRED TRAININGOrientation to the American Red Cross (1 hour)
Disaster Services: An Overview (3 hours)
Disaster Instructor Specialty Training or cross-train from Health and Safety
Experience in the area that you want to teach classes⦆(e.g.: Experienced at casework to teach Client Casework classes)
Successful completion of courses that you will teach
On-the-Job Training
