Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake seeks a Resource Development Intern for Spring Semester 2015.
The Resource Development Intern will work closely with the Resource Development department in all aspects of fundraising and marketing activities including; administrative duties, special event logistics, and donor stewardship to increase awareness, visibility, and funding sources available to Boys &Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake. This position will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative duties in the Resource Development office
- Utilizes data to make recommendations for solicitation strategies and to compose prospective profile summaries.
- Support fundraising appeals and solicitations
- Assist with social and traditional media efforts
- Assist with logistics for internal and external events including:
- Youth of the Year Competition and Awards Breakfast
- Fine Arts and Photography Competition
- Boys & Girls Club Week
- Love Utah, Give Utah
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake’s Senior Development Manager will oversee the internship, providing hands-on training and guidance. This internship will provide those interested in a career in the not-for-profit sector or public administration an in-depth look at the administrative tasks required. In addition, your efforts will directly benefit the hundreds of kids served in our Clubs each day. Administrative efforts can make a difference in the life of a child...you can be that difference.
Hours are flexible and would include up to 10 hours per week during regular business hours. A monetary stipend is available for this internship and college credit may be available.
