Help us reach our goal! Cheerful holiday supporters are needed to give the gift of laundry supplies, the most basic of needs, for two of Wesley Housing's affordable housing communities located in Herndon, VA and Manassas, VA.
The 150 residents of both communities are made up of senior and persons with disabilities. They also represent more than 20 countries and speak 40 difference languages.
Support Goal: Our goal is to supply each resident with 1 filled laundry basket this holiday season. We're almost there, we have 25 baskets left to go!
Laundry Basket Contents
1 Small Plastic Laundry Basket
1 Bottle Laundry Detergent (100 oz. Tide, All or Cheer)
1 Bottle Fabric Softener (40-60 oz. Downy or Snuggle)
This is a great community-based opportunity, ideal for individuals, groups and organizations seeking to support those in need in their area. Baskets are due the second week of December.

Description
Wesley Housing is a nonprofit affordable housing developer operating 29 communities totaling over 2,300 affordable housing units, serving over 25,000 individuals. In addition to housing, Wesley Housing also provides services to its residents through Community Resource Centers which offer afterschool programs for youth, computer training, job skills training, ESL classes, nutrition classes and recreational programs for youth and adults.
