Volunteer as a Peer Role Model
Volunteer as a Peer Role Model at Skill Sprout!

At Skill Sprout, we provide Social Skills Therapy for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. We are looking for Peer Role Model Volunteers, ages 4-17, to join our treatment groups in order to model new skills and to provide opportunities for our clients to practice their emerging skills with peers! Our groups typically meet weekly for 1 hour. While volunteering, your child will be giving back to his/her community, gaining empathy and new friendships, developing his/her leadership skills and strengthening his/her self-esteem, all while playing games, practicing conversations, completing group projects, doing crafts, having snacks, and even earning prizes! Click here to sign up to join a group or to receive more information: https://skillsprout.wufoo.com/forms/are-you-interested-in-your-child-being-a-peer/
