The 97-year old Farr Best Theater is managed by a seven-member, all-volunteer nonprofit board. We host regular concerts and rent the theater to stage groups, churches, wedding ceremoniess, etc. The one area where we lack is marketing and could really use a helping hand.

The Vision for Historic Mansfield
Historic Mansfield will experience a renaissance as the center of community life much as it was 100 years ago. It will be a vibrant place where people live, work, and play in a unique business environment surrounded by revitalized neighborhoods. As the thriving heart of a dynamic city, Historic Mansfield will be the natural gathering spot for everyday life, festivals, and celebrations.
Goals
To accomplish the Vision for Historic Mansfield, the following goals have been adopted:
- Revitalize neighborhoods in Historic Mansfield
- Preserve Historic Mansfield's authentic, unique built environment
- Make Historic Mansfield a gathering spot
- Create a thriving business environment
Events
Several major events are held in the Historic Mansfield area each year. These include Hot Beats & Cold Brews concerts, the Hometown Holidays Parade and others. Everyone is invited to attend these events and discover the unique art, architecture, and culture of Historic Mansfield.
