Is your heart to serve others? Do you like to be part of a food ministry? Can you provide meals for our ministry on an occasional, rotating basis?
3 Oaks Ministries is looking for a several people who would like to rotate providing occasional meals as a blessing to our new residents at our transitional home for women . Our goal is to provide them a home that not only supplies housing, but first and foremost establishes to these women the love, kindness and healing of Jesus Christ. As part of our heart, we would like to welcome them to the home and build much needed relationship with a celebration meal as they begin their journey to a richer life.
It would be wonderful to have many volunteers that we could rotate, who would provide a meal for roughly 10 people on perhaps a monthly, bi-monthly, or even quarterly basis (depending on how many volunteers we have and your own guidelines). If you are an individual or group that would be willing to participate in this type of ministry we would love to add you to our rotation! Please contact us to volunteer

3 Oaks Ministries is a non-profit, faith-based organization committed to helping the hurting and broken by providing hope for the future through Christ in our communities and beyond. Through community collaboration, our goal is to bring help and hope to those in need so they can realize the potential within them and inspire others to do the same.
Description
3 Oaks Ministries is the current state contractor responsible for religious and volunteer services in most of Idaho's adult and juvenile correctional facilities. We are also present in Ada County jail, and partner with other non-profits to provide ministry housing, education and spiritual support.
Additionally, we have a women's only ministry home that provides and alcohol and drug free living environment for women who want to finally have victory over their addictions, whatever they may be. We believe a lack of a caring, alcohol and drug free home, can be a major obstical to staying sober and becoming what God has planned for them. During their time living in our Ministry Home, these women are able to receive clean sheets, a warm bed, friendship and help with their spiritual growth. Additionally, during their participation in our program, they are able to take classes to further their lives. These classes include but are not limited to; Life Skills, Budgeting, Boundaries, Life Hurts God Heals, as well as Recovery and Employment Programs.
