Would you like to help people dealing with emotional pain? Do you believe the through Jesus Christ people can find healing from addiction, abuse, drinking, cutting, etc? Then this volunteer opportunity is for you!
3 Oaks Ministries is looking for a couple of people who would like to lead or co-lead a weekly Christian based class on the program Life Hurts, God Heals in our transitional home for women . Our goal is to provide them a home that not only supplies housing, but first and foremost establishes to these women the love, kindness and healing of Jesus Christ. We truly want them to have a rich understanding of who they are in Christ and how to live a fruitful life through their relationship in Him.
Life Hurts, God Heals is an 8 week recovery program for people struggling with internal pain and addiction. This programs provides more than scriptural principals, it also leads the participants to healing through a process that releases us from bondage, delivers us from bondage and the understanding that above all it is God that heals us from hurts.

Through community collaboration, our goal is to bring help and hope to those in need so they can realize the potential within them and inspire others to do the same.
Description
3 Oaks Ministries is the current state contractor responsible for religious and volunteer services in most of Idaho's adult and juvenile correctional facilities. We are also present in Ada County jail, and partner with other non-profits to provide ministry housing, education and spiritual support.
Additionally, we have a women's only ministry home that provides and alcohol and drug free living environment for women who want to finally have victory over their addictions, whatever they may be. We believe a lack of a caring, alcohol and drug free home, can be a major obstical to staying sober and becoming what God has planned for them. During their time living in our Ministry Home, these women are able to receive clean sheets, a warm bed, friendship and help with their spiritual growth. Additionally, during their participation in our program, they are able to take classes to further their lives. These classes include but are not limited to; Life Skills, Budgeting, Boundaries, Life Hurts God Heals, as well as Recovery and Employment Programs.
