PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The Western North Carolina Region's Communications Department seeks to measurable increase public understanding and support the American Red Cross via media relations. To provide the intern with real world, hands-on experience in public relations to enhance career development and goals.

OPEN TIME DAYS

  • Scheduled as needed, at least 10 hours per week

  • Fulfilling Our Mission
  • Introduction to Disaster Services (online)
  • Be Red Cross Ready (online module)
  • Public Affais: Local Response
  • Social Media (online)
  • ON the job training with Regional Communications Chief
