The Special Projects Squad is a volunteer group made up of flexible individuals that are interested in being contacted (by email) about last minute ReStore projects and volunteer opportunities. This group is essential to ReStore’s viability by bringing quality donations from donors’ homes and businesses to the ReStore. Past projects have included receiving a furniture donation from designer Lilly Pulitzer at the ReStore Warehouse, assisting with a Julia’s Caf? Book drive, helping to pack up and move a furniture & home d?cor donation from the TV show Homeland, and setting up the ReStore’s Christmas display . We are looking for volunteers with energy and an upbeat, patient, and friendly attitude. If you want to get a workout in while volunteering, this position is for you!

Mission Statement
Through the selling of donated construction and home related items:
· Increase the number of homes built with low-income families through Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte.
· Prevent usable items from being put in landfills.
· Provide quality building materials to the general public at discounted prices.
Description
The ReStore is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte- individuals and coporations donate building materials, appliances, and home furnishings, and these items are sold to the public. Proceeds are used to build homes in partnership with needy families in the Charlotte area.
