The teenagers in our three shelters have expressed an interest in having a basketball clinic where they could become more proficient in basketball and have fun. This activity would give them an opportunity to get outside and enjoy a little bit of physical fitness while encouraging team work and building confidence.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have finished high school, and completed our background screening which includes fingerprints. We ask the volunteer to cover the cost of the screening ($25) however, this will be refunded after the volunteer completes 20 hours.
We are looking for someone to come in either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evenings.
