Her Place is an addiction recovery center for women in Huntington, WV (additional information follows). Her Place is in need of volunteers before November 17 th. To help with an evidence based 16 week curriculum that will begin in January 2015. This curriculum is aimed at bringing families back together and to help stop the cycle of addiction. On November 17 th and 18 th Her Place has training planned for 8 hours each day and is looking for 12 facilitators/instructors to be trained on these days to provide the curriculum mentioned above. It is planned to provide this curriculum three times a year.

As with all programs there are additional needs for 4 volunteers to set up, serve food and clean up after eating, and 4 volunteers to supervise and watch children.

HER Place is a newly-founded non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of fostering Hope, providing Education, and supporting Recovery for women who suffer from alcohol and drug addiction. Our Women's Addictions Recovery Outreach Center is a place where women, children, and families can find a safe and nurturing environment that will offer free access to peer support services and educational programs that will empower recovery from addictions and transformation of lives.
