Volunteers to gain wisdom by building wisdom quilt on Family Volunteer Day!
Help our residents build an Intergenerational Wisdom Quilt to honor the lives of our residents at Goodwin House Alexandria. For more than two decades. Family Volunteer Day has been held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving to "kick off" the holiday season of giving and service. The year family volunteer day takes place on November 22. Our goal for the day is to bring people of all generations together in service and in fun to give thanks for long life and the wisdom of age.
