Description: We are looking for 5 to 10 young professionals interested in international development to help launch LivelyHoods’ Young Professional’s Council. The young professionals will help raise awareness and funds to support LivelyHoods’ mission to create jobs for youth and women in Kenya’s slums. The council will also be tasked with creating a strategy and developing materials to help LivelyHoods launch a national campaign for young professional chapters throughout the US in 2015. We are especially interested in young tech professionals, MBAs, graphic designers, grant writers and individuals with sales, marketing, strategy and business development experience.

LivelyHoods trains and hires unemployed youth and women to sell life-improving products like clean-burning cookstoves and solar lamps to residents of Kenya’s slums.
LivelyHoods offers youth and women an opportunity to gain job experience, earn an income, increase their self-confidence, work their way out of poverty, and hope for a better future.
