We need YOU to help us for 1 day to build a variety of basic skills. With your help, we can accommodate more students and make it an evern better experience for our Destination ImagiNation teams. We expect over 100 students to participate and rotate through a variety of stations such as:
Structure building and testing
Tools, tools, tools
Electricity
Mechanical wizardry
Improvisation
Storywriting
Theater skills and portraying a character
Costuming and hand sewing
Idea generation and focusing tools
Instant Challenge
If you would like to help with preparations or clean up/resorting, and preparing for next event, those opportunities are available as well.

Description
Destination ImagiNation, Inc. (DII) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization active in 50 states and 41 countries/provinces. It is supported mainly by > 35,000 volunteers. DII is celebrating our 26 year anniversary of promoting innovation and creative problem-solving, operating under the names Odyssey of the Mind Association, Inc. and since 1999 as Destination ImagiNation, Inc. The goals of DII are to foster creative and critical thinking; to help participants learn and apply creative problem solving methods and tools; to develop teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills; to nurture research and inquiry skills including both creative exploration and attention to detail; to promote the recognition, use, and development of many and varied strengths and talents; to encourage competence in, enthusiasm for, and commitment to real-life problem solving; and to foster mutual respect. DII's work inspires children and adults to develop and showcase their creativity, talents, and interests while generating a love of learning about science, technology, and theater.
