ORGANIZATION: Peter & Paul Community Services

  • 3 people are interested

Peter & Paul Community Services is looking for volunteers to help at our 10th annual Race for Home 5k/10k on Saturday, November 8 th at 9:00am in Tower Grove Park.

Peter & Paul Community Services is an ecumenical agency that provides housing and support services to those who are currently homeless, especially those living with HIV/AIDS or a mental health diagnosis. Our programs include an emergency shelter, a community meals program, 3 transitional housing programs and a new permanent housing program.

Our race not only raises money for our organization’s housing and case management services, but it also strengthens awareness about the issue of homelessness in St. Louis. To make our event a success, we rely on many volunteers. Volunteers serve from 7:00am-11:00am by encouraging runners, guarding the intersections and guiding the runners through the course.

Snacks will be provided for all volunteers and t-shirts will be given to volunteers on a first come-first serve basis that morning. If interested in volunteering, please contact Jane Lindley at 314-338-8191 or jlindley@ppcsinc.org .
