As a volunteer with JA Finance Park, you will help students navigate the world of personal finances as they assume the role of an "adult for the day."At JA Finance Park, students are given a unique life situation which includes an income, marital status, even kids! Using this persona, students make financial decisions for their "family" and create a balanced monthly budget.

To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JA programs offer a wide variety of people the opportunity to apply their expertise to the educational needs of our communities' students from kindergarten through the 12th grade in an effective and fun way.
Description
Volunteers are the core of Junior Achievement's impact in the classroom. Trained volunteers visit classrooms for about 45 minutes once a week for 5 to 8 sessions, depending on the grade level. The volunteer uses his or her own experience in conjunction with the JA curriculum to teach about business principles, decision-making and critical thinking skills.
