During the holidays, The Salvation Army collects toys and food to provide a joyful Chirstmas celebration to our neighbors in need.
Our 35 Chicago area locations need volunteers to help sort toys, pack toys and pack food for families to pick up the week before Christmas.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to play "santa" and pack toys for parents to take home, wrap, and give to their children on Christmas morning.

And, The Salvation Army is delivering the most critical services -- food, shelter, emergency assistance and disaster relief.
In communities throughout Chicago and the surrounding five-county area, we extend emergency and supportive assistance from 28 corps community centers, 80 service extension units, the Emergency Disaster Services Center, residential programs, mobile units, and several counseling sites.
