KCWS requires all volunteers to attend basic training where we carefully outline all policies and procedures of KCWS, as well as familiarize volunteers with domestic violence. KCWS ensures the safety and confidentiality of all shelter residents by requiring training. Our session is two hours long and is organized to be fun anf interactive. Participate in group discussions, activities and observe videos about the dynamics of sometic violence. Learn about the history, services and locations of KCWS. Contact volunteer coordinator, Emma Merrill, at emerrill@kcwstexas.org or (830)331-8950 to reserve your seat in our next training.
