Hospice volunteers are an important component of a caring and compassionate hospice team. There's a lot you can do to help a family whose loved one has a terminal illness. Our direct service Hospice volunteers engage with patients, their caregivers and families. Volunteer opportunities include friendly visits, caregiver relief, helping hand with local errands, light housework, pet walking, light meal prep, or keep current with today’s events. Volunteers may also provide office support and assistance with special projects.
It’s the little things that make all the difference in Hospice Volunteering. By donating your time and talents, you can help people who need it most. We have patients and caregivers throughout Central MA and the Metrowest area that would appreciate a friendly hand to hold or an attentive ear to listen. You can make a difference in a someone's life.
