PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To provide exceptional customer service to blood donors and visitors ensuring experiences are positive and rewarding and that donors return. Enhance your customer service skills and gain experience working directly with medical staff. Manage reception process by ensuring each donor is helped according to their appointment time, asking donors to read required medical material and providing telephone follow up. Manage the hospitality experience by offering refreshments and giving immediate attention to anyone feeling unwell. Ask an employee for assistance. Invite donors to return by providing educational facts about the positive impact of blood donation.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Days and times are flexible! Minimum of one shift per mont required.
- Orientation to American Red Cross 1 hour
- Blood Drive Team specific training 1 hour
