Join us for a Park Beautification Day at Edna Metz Wells Park, on Nov.8, 9am-Noon. Meet at picnic table at W Johnson Street.
Volunteers ages 12 & up can assist with the removal of invasives and other park clean up projects. Anyone under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Staff will have tools and gloves. Wear comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes that will get dirty.
Per department policies, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed community service hours.
Pre-registration is required of all volunteers in order to ensure enough tools and supplies are available for project.
